Photographic equipment insurance

As Christmas fast approaches (it’s now less than ten weeks away!) professional photographers across the country will no doubt be pondering which of the latest bits of kit to add to their wish list.  Some of the professionals we know, plan to buy themselves a few extras in the Christmas sales to treat themselves for the professional photography work they’ll be carrying out in the year ahead. 

If you do add to your kit list – whether it’s a new lense, flash, new camera or any other photographic item, be sure to call your photography insurance provider and let them know what the item is and how much it cost.  This will ensure you’re fully covered should the worst happen and your equipment is lost or stolen.  If you can, keep all your receipts too as these will come in handy should you need to make a claim.
