Insuring Your Camera with Infocus
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a professional or an amateur photographer. If you love photography, your camera is likely to be the most important piece of kit you own.
High quality professional camera equipment can cost thousands of pounds to purchase and whether it is used as part of your livelihood or not, it would be incredibly distressing for it to become damaged or goes missing.
It would be even more distressing if you did not have a high quality insurance policy designed to react urgently, with the minimum of fuss, to the needs of Professional Photographers, whose business depends on their equipment.
Whether you’re a fashion photographer, journalist or wedding photographer, our Photographic & Technical Equipment policy has been specifically designed to cover the most common requirements.
Insuring your camera with Infocus is a wise decision, which will protect your investment and give you the freedom to enjoy and explore different areas of your work.
When you insure with Infocus, you can choose insurance that will cover the contents of your photography business premises, as well as policies that include protection against ‘all risks’ such as accidental damage and theft, as well as worldwide cover, and even include unattended vehicle cover.
Our Basic insurance is offered on cameras and equipment valued up to £5,000, with our Standard cover covering up to £10,000. We can easily accommodate higher sums insured on our Bespoke policy.
If you’re thinking about protecting your camera with insurance, you should seek a policy that will cover your specific needs. All our insurance products are developed alongside professional photographers so we know what the risks to your camera are and how to protect you.
Our trained advisors are well versed with a wide variety of issues and have a vast amount of expertise in dealing with clients whose camera has been lost, stolen, vandalised or damaged.
Just one example of this is Dave Goodman from Lifetyme Photography:
“ The claim process was seamless and simple. Turnaround was exceptionally fast and the communication (from ONE DESIGNATED PERSON – Steve Hewlett) was first–class. I would unreservedly recommend InFocus’s excellent cover to anybody who relies on their equipment being available and covered reliably and at a very competitive price.”
