Blurred Lines
After reading an article in a national paper recently exploring the blurring lines between photography and art, it got us thinking. Photography has long been seen as lagging behind traditional methods of fine art such as painting and sculpting. However, in recent months it seems to have gained more momentum.
Partly as a result of the National Portrait Gallery’s forthcoming David Bailey show, teamed with the highly anticipated opening of the Media Space at the London Science Museum this month, this shift will be welcomed with open arms by the photography industry. We, for one, are delighted that professional photography is finally gaining the momentum it deserves, within a highly creative industry.
Who’s looking forward to the David Bailey exhibition?
