The dangers of photography
Arrested 20 times and held at gunpoint. Doesn’t seem like the standard life of a photographer but for one urban explorer, this has been everyday life for the past five years.
The trend of photographing stunning abandoned buildings and sites is on the rise, with national press covering it frequently. Photographer Dan Marbaix has spent five years travelling across the world capturing spectacular scenes in desolate, often dangerous locations. He often has to sneak in and side-step security to capture the perfect image and has travelled Italy, Germany, Austria, Holland and America to pursue his hobby. We must admit the results are amazing and give the public access to places they would never get the opportunity to see.
